What types of sources can I follow?
You can follow websites and blogs with an RSS feed, YouTube channels, podcasts and Google News searches on every plan, and with Pro also newsletters, pages without a feed, social networks and keyword monitoring. Click Add feed in the tab bar, and the Add new page lists every type of source.

The source types
The steps for the website search are in How do I add a feed?
- Website: any site, blog or news outlet that publishes an RSS, Atom or JSON feed. Type its name or paste its address or the feed's own address. A YouTube channel or playlist is followed here too, by its address.
- Podcast: search for a show by name and follow it. Episodes play in Inoreader's audio player.
- Google News feed: a Google News search for a keyword or a topic, in the language you choose, that delivers new results as articles.
- Web feed (Pro): a web page that has no feed. You pick the list of items on the page, and Inoreader checks it for new ones.
- Track changes feed (Pro): a web page watched for changes to its text or its look, such as a price or a notice.
- Monitoring feed (Pro): a search for a keyword, a brand or a topic across the public feeds Inoreader indexes, delivered as new matches.
- Newsletter feed (Pro): an Inoreader email address you subscribe to a newsletter with, so its emails arrive as articles instead of filling your inbox.
- Bluesky feed, Facebook page and Telegram channel (Pro): searches and accounts on Bluesky, public Facebook pages and public Telegram channels. For Bluesky and Facebook, you connect your account on that network to Inoreader first.
- Import feeds: an OPML file from another reader, with its folders.
Follow a feed that needs a login
When a feed asks for a username and password, the search shows a Sign in form. Enter the credentials once, and Inoreader uses them for every check (Pro).
Follow a feed list that keeps changing
To follow a feed list that someone publishes as an OPML file and have your feeds follow its changes, use Automate > OPML subscriptions.
Plans and limits
Free accounts follow up to 150 RSS feeds and Pro up to 2,500. A Pro account also has 20 web feeds and track changes feeds together, 20 newsletter feeds, 30 monitoring feeds, and 30 feeds each from Bluesky, Facebook and Telegram. More is on Find feeds to follow.
