Inoreader for Teams: one set of sources for everyone, with shared folders, channels and reports
Your whole team works from one set of sources. Admins curate the folders everyone follows, and members share and discuss articles in channels and tag them for the archive. The whole team also draws on shared digests, dashboards, reports and limits.
See Team pricing- TeamAvailable on the Team and Team Intelligence plans, and every member also gets all Pro features.
What it does
A team that reads the same sources should not have to subscribe to them one person at a time. With Inoreader for Teams, admins curate Team folders of RSS feeds, web feeds, monitoring feeds and newsletters, and every member follows them at once. Team filters remove duplicates and noise from these folders for everyone. Spotlights highlight the team's keywords in every article, and Team tags file articles into a shared archive.
In Team channels, members discuss what they read. A member shares an article with a comment, others reply and mention colleagues, and the channel keeps the discussion together with the article. Shared dashboards show the team's new articles, channels, tags, uploads and reports in one view. Email digests send the week's picks to people outside the tool, and uploaded documents sit beside the articles as searchable items.
Admins handle everything from one place, Manage Team. There they manage members and SSO, the shared folders, channels, tags, filters and spotlights, automated Intelligence reports and the shared API application. They also see the team's usage against one pool of limits.
How it works
- Create the team from the pricing page, then invite members by email or connect your identity provider for SSO.
- Build Team folders from the sources everyone should follow, and add Team filters to keep them clean.
- Set up channels for the topics the team discusses, tags for the archive and spotlights for the terms to watch.
- Add dashboards, digests and automated reports, so the team's reading reaches the people who need it, inside and outside Inoreader.
What people use it for
Media monitoring
A communications team keeps monitoring feeds for the brand, the competitors and the sector in Team folders. It uses a channel for the stories that need a response and sends a digest to the executives.
Research and analysis
Analysts share sources and uploads and tag their findings. Every morning, they read an automated report on each topic.
Editorial desks
Reporters follow the same beats and flag stories to each other in channels. Spotlights mark the names and places that matter to the desk.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do Team folders work?
An admin builds a folder of feeds, which can include RSS feeds, web feeds, monitoring feeds and newsletters, and every member follows it automatically. When a feed is added later, it reaches everyone. Team filters remove duplicates and off-topic articles from the folder for the whole team.
How does a team share and discuss articles?
Members share articles in Team channels, which are private spaces around a topic. They post articles with a comment, reply and mention each other. Team tags organize and archive articles for everyone, spotlights highlight the team's keywords in every article, and members can share their highlights and notes.
What does a member get?
Each member gets everything in Pro, plus the team's shared folders, channels, tags, dashboards, digests, uploads and Intelligence reports. Limits such as rules, filters and Intelligence tokens are one pool for the whole team, and admins can see the usage.
Can we share documents too?
Yes. Members can upload PDF, Word, text and Excel files. The files become searchable articles in the team's space, and you can annotate and share them like any other article.
Is there single sign-on?
Yes. Teams can sign in with SSO through their organization's identity provider, and admins manage members, access and API keys from Manage Team.
